It is essential that children have clear vision as they grow or they may not develop their full visual potential. It is possible to check your child’s eyes even before they learn to read using a range of pictures and games. We can test their visual acuity, binocular and colour vision, and examine their eyes to make sure they are healthy.
Children are entitled to Free NHS Eye Tests and a Voucher towards the cost of spectacles. Conditions apply to NHS Eye Tests and Vouchers.
Myopia Control
Myopia, or short-sightedness, means distant objects look blurry. It often starts in childhood and can get worse as kids grow. Managing myopia early helps stop prescriptions from getting too strong and protects long-term eye health. We use advanced MiYOSMART spectacle lenses by Hoya to manage short-sightedness.
